What is your specialty, what makes your work unique? Or place your artist's statement.

As an artist and creator I love to work on anything I can imagine, be this an art piece or something more applicable for instance furniture or tools I always love to convey a feeling or just captivate my audience.
The main thread in my work is detail, I love to create by hand and make all the pieces myself working with materials such as wood and metals I can create almost anything I can see in my minds eye.
Through this process I strive to create unique pieces with its own character and look.
My style can be described as a fusion between organic creation with touches of geometric shapes,
As I create through physical sketching and following where the dopamine leads me.
‘Does this surprise me enough, does it spark joy.’ These are the questions I keep asking myself throughout the process, because first and foremost I believe enjoying your work leads to an overall quality which is missing from todays market.

What are your ambitions? What do you want to be in five years?

I’d love to be at a point where I can sustain myself with my art and have a stimulating live that doesn’t solely revolve around working.
Having a workplace where I can build whatever I want, accepting requests for specially made pieces with my signature style. Both art installations and furniture.
Next to this I want to expand my repertoire and have a collection of work, that I may sell to people.
I hope to be active in some other forms of work as well, as I love to be a jack of all trades.
But most of all, I want to try and make this world just a little bit better

What is the most important thing you have learned during your studies?

The experience at the HKU is different than other schools I attended.
This made learning things a very independent task, therefor I learned a lot about myself how I work and what drives me forward.
The process of making is one of those things, I learned that I need the right stimulation to get where I need to be, which is a very strange blend of surprise, premonition and some drive to do better than I did before.
