What is your specialty, what makes your work unique? Or place your artist's statement.

I describe myself as a poetic image maker, in which photography, film and poetry take the lead.
I always work from a concept or fascination, this is often linked to my own life. My work is often a reflection of how I am in life at that moment, what I encounter, what I want to process or what I want to fight for. For me art is making a connection with others in a way words can not, sharing an emotion from deep within. Topics that are important to me in my work are about: self-discovery, acceptance, memories, dreams, feminism, sexism and mental health.

With my work I want to capture moments that hold an emotion for me that reflect how I feel at that moment, to keep the moments close to me or to be able to process and release these moments. I seek intimacy, to get closer to myself and others.

What are your ambitions? What do you want to be in five years?

My ambition is to keep making art for myself, but also for others, art is for me an outlet, to be able to express my emotions, a way to say how I think about something. In 5 years I also want to make change for others with my maker ship, I want to create more awareness around themes such as mental health.
