What is your specialty, what makes your work unique? Or place your artist's statement.
She plays the violin. A mysterious and beautiful instrument with a vibrant sound. Or rather sweet? The array of colors that she offers is endless. The artist playing the violin is a hopeless romantic. Through mud and evergreen pain, they shift through transformation every single time. They've been the most true and sincere friends for 20 years. She has created her. The artist. The artist has become a person with a kind heart and an open mind. They both crave to see smiles on the faces of the people. They drive for peace and togetherness, but they also know that it’s no easy path. There's no one without the other. They create infinity. Full velvet circle. You hear them if it's meant to be. If you hear them, it's yours to decide - what you give and take. They'd be just grateful. The combo is unique for finding joy, hope and faith for themselves in classical music.
What are your ambitions? What do you want to be in five years?
In 5 years I would like to be a musician, who has been able to share everything that she’s become in these 31 years. I'd like to be the person who touches hearts, shares the joy and purity of music. I want to be a part of a group, will it be an orchestra or an ensemble, who are drawn together, because they share the love of music. I’d be the example of my faith in life. It's very important for me to give back to the community, which I am doing by teaching violin. I see that being a teacher is a way of being a student throughout my life. In order to be my best musician, I see myself in the future learning other music styles such as folk and jazz, studying to become a yoga teacher and a personal coach. I believe in five years I have finished my master’s degree in violin performing.
What is the most important thing you have learned during your studies?
During my studies I learned to identify myself as a musician. I've learned to hold tight, let go and repeat that. I've understood that in order to be a musician, one needs to have continuity and prevent injuries. These are the mere basics without I cannot create. For the past four years I've learned to walk my own journey. Although the steps are sometimes shaky and slow - I keep going no matter what. That I know of myself. Music has taught me to surrender and take a deep breath. I honor music, composers and fellow musicians more than ever and continue to do so. My mission is to give each day one drop of myself.
