What is your specialty, what makes your work unique? Or place your artist's statement.

I am a 3D Environment Artist and my main passion is to work on realistic environments/props. Every time I play AAA games that push realism to a higher level, it motivates me to work harder and learn new techniques. Every time I learn something new, I implement it in my projects. I also love to work on high quality VR projects. It’s cool to make a realistic environment, but the VR aspect makes it even better!

What are your ambitions? What do you want to be in five years?

Currently I am looking for an entry-job as an 3D Environment Artist in the video game industry. Other than that I would love to work for Ubisoft Düsseldorf and move there to work on Rainbow Six Siege or other Tom Clancy Projects. In the future, I would love to work on Resident Evil games, I’ve been playing Resident Evil since I was 8 years old!

What is the most important thing you have learned during your studies?

It might sound typical, but WORK HARD & SMART!
The game industry is highly competitive, that's why I want to keep working on perfecting my craft.

I always made sure not to rely on school alone, but to take time outside school projects to work on my skills and portfolio. I traveled 5 hours a day to go to HKU and still had side-projects, that's how much I love being a 3D artist.

To me, it's important to maintain a good project structure, take deadlines seriously, workflow & process shots to keep track of my skill development.

REFERENCE IS KEY! Since I started making reference mood boards, the quality of my final product increased!
