What is your specialty, what makes your work unique? Or place your artist's statement.

FORM/FUNCTION/DETAILS are the main focus points that are used (either one by itself or merged together) to create my final garments. As a menswear designer/costume designer I want to bring back the uniqueness and value to garments by using personal elements of the owner, leading to a spark between the two.

What are your ambitions? What do you want to be in five years?

For me working abroad gives a wider perspective to what the world has to offer to the rest of the world. I want to learn as much as I can from all the places around globe and bring this all together in my garments. Every country has their specialties which will give a greater understanding of the meaning that a garment brings with it. I would love to work at some great brands and companies to gain more experience and share my knowledge internationally.

What is the most important thing you have learned during your studies?

Being able to stay true to yourself no matter what. Always believe in yourself and your goals. We all struggle with something in our lives and sometimes it seems that things are impossible, but trust me after all the hardships there will be success. Just take that one more step. And remember to keep learning and go forward! Always! 'If it is important to you, you will find a way. If it is not important, you will find an excuse'.
