What is your specialty, what makes your work unique? Or place your artist's statement.

It is nice to take a moment to daydream sometimes. Creating images is a way for me to both relax and escape reality for a bit, which is a feeling I also want to convey with my work.

My work always starts with a mood or a feeling. The look is often dreamy and colourful, with the occasional elements from fantasy and nature. I like to focus on the magic in everyday moments and the emotional world of a character. By combining digital with traditional work, I created a process I really enjoy.

What are your ambitions? What do you want to be in five years?

My ambition is to continue working in 2D animation and illustration, to keep improving my work and to one day realise the dream to design, make and sell my own products.

What is the most important thing you have learned during your studies?

Always keep following your fascinations and what you like doing. Make mistakes, learn from them and ask feedback from the people around you.
