What is your specialty, what makes your work unique? Or place your artist's statement.

My work is playful and personal, inspired by stories and narratives. Most revolve around my upbringing on the island of Curacao, my motherland Venezuela and anecdotes from people around me.
When I am working, I am mainly trying to understand our world. Dealing with issues like social constructs, politics, religion, to physics playing with light, sound, and time.

What are your ambitions? What do you want to be in five years?

In the coming period, I would like to develop myself further as a maker, find my way of being an artist in contemporary society, and show my works worldwide.

What is the most important thing you have learned during your studies?

I have learned about trial and error, how to learn and work with mistakes. I have learned to stand up for my work and to keep believing in my capabilities.
