I am a young entrepreneur with the ability to develop concepts from scratch and put them into practice, with a deep understanding of the creative value in an economic and social environment.
I translate this strength daily as the founder and creative director of MUSA intimates. MUSA intimates is a lingerie brand that strives for a world in which feeling comfortable in your own skin is the new ideal of beauty. MUSA supports this with her innovative undies made from banana textile. This fabric comes from the trunk of the banana plant. It becomes waste after harvesting the banana, for us it becomes our MUSA undie. It breathes, cools, and is water-repellent. Perfect for your intimate zones!
What are your ambitions? What do you want to be in five years?
With MUSA, I try to contribute to a more sustainable banana- and fashion industry, in which women from the banana plantations as well as our customers are comfortable and feel ready to conquer the day.
Within five years, I want to change both the banana industry and the fashion industry for the better with the MUSA banana undies.
What is the most important thing you have learned during your studies?
The most important lesson that I’ve learned from my time at HKU is that
everything you want to achieve is already inside you, but you are the one that has to set that development in motion and be in control of it.
This insight has opened many doors for me and forms the basis of what
now, four years later, has become my area of expertise: Entrepreneurship.
