What is your specialty, what makes your work unique? Or place your artist's statement.

Usually, It's hard to share or talk about emotions. And for me, it acts as an extra drive to create. So, I would not speak about them but create. I see myself as a psychological designer. As a result, I have often found myself dissecting an experience or feeling into bits and linking it to material or shape. I try to visualize the process in my head before experimenting with various materials and techniques. I take my time to focus on creating details in my work. I'm the type of person who would rather attach thousands of self-made pieces to create one piece than work from one item.

My aim is to create a divergence in a monotonous setting. To add on artistic features to change the normal perspective where functionality is often the only policy.
Culture, science and art all play a significant role in my process.
This is why I'll continue my studies and aim to enter into Architecture, where I look forward to expanding my knowledge and combine technical aspects with my background in art.

What are your ambitions? What do you want to be in five years?

That I could realise some of my work and work as a junior architect.

What is the most important thing you have learned during your studies?

Of course, the HKU and Spatial design teach you solid points like experimenting, analysing, problem-solving, and more. But the most valuable thing is that I've been given the time and space to explore more about myself. Therefore, learning how to see the world differently.
