Echo is een korte fictiefilm die op poëtische wijze de verschillende fases van afscheid en rouw in beeld brengt. We volgen de 21-jarige Noa op zoektocht naar zichzelf, met een troosteloos strand, een onder water gelopen bos en een industrieel fabriekspand als magisch decor. We worden meegenomen in haar belevingswereld terwijl zij de relatiebreuk met haar eerste grote liefde, Miriam, verwerkt, en wordt blootgesteld aan de heftige emoties die deze ervaring teweegbrengt. Dit magisch-realistische drama zal de drie fases van Noa’s verwerkingsproces in beeld brengen.

Echo is a fictional short film that poetically depicts the different phases of farewell and mourning. We follow 21-year-old Noa on a quest for herself, through the magical backdrops of a desolate beach, a flooded forest and an industrial factory building. We are taken into her experience as she processes her breakup with her first great love, Miriam, and is exposed to the intense emotions that this experience causes. This magical-realistic drama will portray the three phases of Noa's processing process.
